My career in roadway construction began in 2007 as a laborer for a pavement marking company. Through dedication, hard work, and a commitment to learning every aspect of the industry, I advanced into equipment operations specializing in pavement marking removal, long-line striping, and short-line striping.
I later transitioned into local government, where I worked on roadway paving crews and progressed into heavy equipment operations supporting roadway construction and rehabilitation projects. During this time, I also gained extensive experience in roadway signage, including the design, fabrication, and installation of traffic signs throughout the municipality.
With more than 17 years in the roadway construction industry, I have been directly involved in the planning, implementation, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic control for a wide variety of projects. This hands-on experience has provided me with a deep understanding of work zone safety, traffic control operations, pavement markings, roadway signage, and the practical challenges faced by contractors, agencies, and field personnel every day.
Today, I use that real-world experience to help organizations improve safety, maintain compliance, and deliver effective temporary traffic control solutions through training, consulting, safety audits, and traffic control plan development.
In addition to my construction and traffic control experience, I provide temporary traffic control consulting and work zone safety audits to help organizations improve safety, maintain regulatory compliance, and reduce risk. My consulting services focus on evaluating work zone operations, identifying potential hazards, reviewing traffic control measures, and recommending practical solutions that align with local, state, and federal requirements, including the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
Today, I combine real-world field experience with industry-recognized training and certifications to deliver temporary traffic control consulting, work zone safety audits, traffic control plan development, and professional training programs. My goal is to help organizations create safer work zones, protect workers and the traveling public, and ensure every project is completed with safety and compliance as the top priorities.
